Anna Catherine Unser is a doctoral candidate in Dr. Diana Monsivais' lab at Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) in the Department of Pathology and Immunology. In the Monsivais lab, Anna Catherine studies endometrial regeneration and endometriosis. Her thesis works specifically investigates the role of endometrial progenitor populations within the endometrium and endometriosis using conditional knockout mouse models and patient-derived endometrial organoids. Overall, she aims to pursue her Ph.D. while garnering a strong foundation in reproductive biology to aid her in a career to scientifically and socially advance knowledge, therapeutics, and diagnostics within reproductive biology and disease.
