Dr. Shuang Liang, MD, PhD,Attending Physician in Obstetrics and Gynecology, is a visiting scholar in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Duke University School of Medicine, affiliated with Tianjin Central Hospital of Obstetrics and Gynecology in China. Her research focuses on understanding the mechanisms of pregnancy complications associated with placental development, and the impact of environmental stressors on pregnancy outcomes. With a clinical background in maternal-fetal medicine and a strong interest in translational research, Dr. Liang integrates in vivo imaging, molecular biology, and cohort analysis to investigate mechanisms of placental insufficiency and adverse perinatal outcomes.
