Professor Edson Guimarães Lo Turco, a Veterinary Medicine graduate (UEL, 2001), holds a Master's (UNESP, 2004) and Ph.D. (UNIFESP, 2008), following technical training in molecular biology (UNESP, 2002). He headed Hospital São Paulo's in vitro fertilization lab (2004-2016). Currently, he is a senior embryologist, advisory board member in human reproduction clinics, and founding partner of three social impact biotech companies. Professor Lo Turco also advises UNIFESP Master's and Ph.D. students in Urology and holds patents in human reproduction, HIV, and breast cancer.
