Dr. Yiran Zhou is a postdoctoral research fellow in the Department of Pediatrics – Division of Endocrinology at Michigan Medicine, University of Michigan. Her current research focuses on reproductive toxicology and ovarian biology, with particular interest in how real-world exposure to environmental chemicals (ECs) affects ovarian follicular development, oocyte quality, and further fertility. Using a sheep model that mimics human exposure to complex EC mixtures, Dr. Zhou investigates both morphological and molecular changes in the ovary across life stages.
