I am a PhD candidate in the lab of Dr. Jennifer Gerton at the Stowers Institute for Medical Research. Since joining the Gerton Lab, I have developed my dissertation project to investigate how age impacts ribosome production and translation within murine oocytes . This research draws from foundations of molecular biology, gene regulation, and reproductive biology to shed light on the molecular underpinnings that drive age-associated functional decline of female fertility. I am also a proud alumni of the 2023 Frontiers in Reproduction course and recipient of an F31 fellowship from the National Institute for Child Health and Development.
