Graduate Student
University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
I was born and raised in Acme, Pennsylvania. I completed my undergraduate studies at Ohio Northern University majoring in molecular biology. This was my first experience in a lab, and it kicked started what would soon become a passion for science. I began my research wanting to know the minute details of cell mechanism, but this morphed into an interest in female reproduction and cellular development. I am currently in the Nowak lab working towards unveiling the mechanisms by which endocrine-disrupting chemicals impact the female reproductive tract.
