I received my Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science from Monash University in Melbourne, Australia. I completed my Honours degree at the Hudson Institute of Medical research under the supervision of Dr. Stuart Hooper focusing on intervention methods for newborns with lung hypoplasia using sheep as a model. I completed my PhD in the lab of Dr. Blanche Capel at Duke University focusing on understanding the role, development, and function of the Rete Ovarii. Upon completing my PhD, I joined the lab of Dr. Sue Hammoud at the University of Michigan focusing on fertilization and early embryo development.
