Dr. Zachary Seekford is a postdoctoral research associate in the Department of Animal Science at Texas A&M University. Dr. Seekford's research interests are focused on understanding the interactions between the reproductive and immune systems during pregnancy in cattle. Dr. Seekford’s overarching research objective is to untangle the maternal-embryonic immune mechanisms regulating fertility, and apply this knowledge to mitigate pregnancy losses. His career goal is to become a professor at a land-grant university. He is excited about developing national and international collaborative partnerships to address the future of pregnancy and fertility research.
