Lillian (Lily) Folts is a third year PhD candidate in the Cell Biology, Stem Cells, and Development program at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. She got her undergraduate degree from St. Mary’s College of Maryland. Now, as a graduate student in Dr. Jen McKey’s lab, her work focuses on understanding how ovary-adjacent tissues, such as the rete ovarii, influence ovarian development and homeostasis.
