Ryan received undergraduate education from Cedarville University in Molecular and Cellular Biology with research experience at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. Doctoral training with Dr. Jae-Wook Jeong at Michigan State University spurred his passion for uterine biology. Ryan is now a postdoc in Dr. Francesco DeMayo's group in the Reproductive & Developmental Biology Laboratory at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences with funding from a NIGMS Postdoctoral Research Associate Training (PRAT) Program fellowship. His ongoing research interests include mechanisms of transcriptional regulation of uterine physiology and how they are dysregulated in inflammation-related human disease processes like endometriosis and recurrent pregnancy loss.
