Pranav Volety is a graduate student in the Bagchi Lab at UIUC, researching reproductive biology with a focus on pregnancy, implantation, and uterine health. His work explores endocrine disrupting chemicals, EV signaling, and metabolic regulation in pregnancy disorders. With prior experience in cancer biology, immunology, and neurobiology, he has studied prostate cancer stem cells, melanoma, and Fragile X Syndrome. Volety has presented at AACR and co-authored a chapter on proto-oncogenes. A recipient of the Dennis Clank Award and a Billie Fields Lecturing Fellow, he is dedicated to advancing maternal-fetal medicine through translational and interdisciplinary research.
