Dr. Bloom received her Ph.D. in 2020 from Cornell University where, in Dr. John Schimenti's lab, she studied the genetics of infertility and the effect of DNA damage on both female and male germlines. After completing her Ph.D., she joined the lab of Dr. David Page at Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research with an interest in reproductive biology and aging. As a postdoc, she has been using a variety of experimental approaches and model systems to understand the impact of reproductive aging both within and beyond the reproductive system.
