University of Michigan
Ann Arbor, Michigan, United States
Dr. Kruger received her Ph.D. from Michigan State University and has experience in genetics, reproduction, and developmental biology research. Her doctoral work investigated the genetic and molecular mechanisms governing cell fate specification in preimplantation and peri-implantation mouse embryos. She is currently a postdoctoral research fellow in the lab of Ariella Shikanov at the University of Michigan. Her postdoctoral research investigates reproductive, developmental, and metabolic impacts in individuals undergoing gender-affirming hormone therapy and their offspring using a mouse model. She was also an NIH IRACDA fellow with a strong interest in teaching and mentorship.
