Our research lies at the intersection of genetics, epigenetics, and toxicology, aiming to understand how environmental toxicants shape biological responses and epigenetic memory across the lifespan and generations. Using model systems like C. elegans and mouse stem cells, we integrate toxico-(epi)genomics and metabolomics to uncover mechanisms of transgenerational effects. Our work has appeared in leading journals including PNAS, Cell Reports, and Elife, and has earned major funding from NIH, Burroughs Wellcome, and the Templeton Foundation. Dr. Allard has received multiple honors and serves on national committees and editorial boards advancing environmental health and toxicology research.
