My name is Eleanore O'Neil and I am a postdoctoral associate at Duke University. My overall research goal is to understand underlying mechanisms regulating gonadogenesis and gonad differentiation, and how these developmental events, or disruptions in them, affect adult reproductive function and fertility. This line of investigation combines my expertise in sex determination and gonad development from my postdoctoral training with my interest in extrinsic factors as regulators of developmental processes, an approach I gained from my PhD.
