Graduate Student/Reasearch Assistant
Wayne State University
Detroit, Michigan, United States
I obtained a BS degree in Physiology with Honors from the University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria in 2019. The realization that my background in Physiology, if sufficiently supplemented with laboratory experience and research can prepare me to make significant contributions in the field of reproductive sciences was my motivation for seeking an advanced degree. My academic and scientific background in Physiology greatly helped my transition to a PhD student at Wayne State University Physiology program where I joined Dr. Zhibing Zhang’s laboratory.
Research in our lab focuses on the molecular mechanisms of genes involved in ciliogenesis and spermatogenesis.
