Natalie Zelenkova is a Ph.D. student at the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague, where she focuses on the molecular mechanisms of gamete interaction, particularly the identification of molecules involved in the sperm-oocyte binding. As part of her doctoral studies, she spent 12 months at the University of Missouri, where she participated in the investigation of the mechanisms of post-fertilization degradation of paternal mitochondria. Before that, she also did an internship at the University of Murcia. With a strong background in molecular and biochemical techniques, she is interested in exploring topics related to fertilization and reproductive biotechnologies.
