Minnu Jayapal is a third-year PhD candidate at the Robinson Research Institute, University of Adelaide. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology, which she completed in india and a Masters in Biotechnology from the University of Adelaide. After completion of Masters, she worked as a research assistant at the University of Adelaide, where she focused on cystic fibrosis research. Research project based on ovulation as part of her Masters research project, made her particularly interested in reproductive biology and the mechanisms of ovulation. This peculiar interest led her to pursue a PhD, where now she investigates role of phosphodiesterase isoforms in regulating ovulation through unique cAMP dynamics within the ovary.
