Jillian Hughes-Brown recently defended her master’s thesis in Animal Science at Penn State University, where she studied reproductive physiology in dairy cattle. She holds a bachelor’s degree from New Mexico State University with minors in Human-Animal Interaction and Dairy Science. With five years of research and four internships, she has experience in reproductive biology, animal behavior, and molecular biology. Her thesis research focused on the molecular regulation of luteolytic capacity in the bovine corpus luteum. Jillian is excited to apply her skills in practical, on-farm settings and plans to pursue a career in industry following graduation.
