University of Missouri
Columbia, Missouri, United States
Growing up in rural Egypt, I developed a passion for animal science and its role in improving local economies. After earning a veterinary degree from Zagazig University, I became a teaching assistant in Theriogenology. I was later awarded a prestigious USAID scholarship to pursue a Master’s at Cornell University, where I studied cryopreservation of bovine oocytes and embryos using ultrafast freezing and synchrotron x-ray imaging. Currently, I am a PhD candidate at the University of Missouri under Dr. Thomas Spencer's supervision, developing stem-cell model to investigate the molecular mechanisms of bovine placental development, aiming for a future academic career.
