Kyla Tietz is a dynamic scientist with a commitment to advancing human health through innovative research. Kyla earned a MSc in Polymer Chemistry from Stellenbosch University, South Africa, where her thesis explored the synthesis of on-demand reversible hydrogels for male contraceptive applications. As the recently appointed Director of Research and Development at NEXT Life Sciences, Inc., Kyla spearheads the development of Vasalgel, a hydrogel-based, non-hormonal, on-demand reversible male contraceptive. Her work focuses on translating cutting-edge polymer chemistry into practical medical solutions.With a deep-rooted passion for research, education, and international relations, Kyla aims to make lasting contributions to science and society.
