My name is Madison Brockman, and I am a second-year Masters's student in Animal Physiology studying at Iowa State University. I was awarded a teaching assistanship during my undergraduate degree, and have been working as a part-time graduate research and teaching assistant, under the guidance of Dr. Aileen Keating (PI). My research revolves around investigating the impacts LPS-induced endotoxemia, brought on by heat stress, pathogenesis or obesity, and Dimethylbenz[a]Anthracene (DMBA) exposure has on female hepatic function in hyperphagic lean and obese mice.
