Meng Ma is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Comparative Biosciences at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Her research focuses on reproductive and developmental biology, particularly the cytoplasmic remodeling processes that regulate oocyte maturation and early embryonic development. She has co-authored several peer-reviewed publications in Developmental Cell, STAR Protocols, and Biomedicine & Pharmacotherapy.
