Graduate Research Assistant
University of Illinois Urbana Champaign
I am a third-year Ph.D. student at UIUC with over eight years of multidisciplinary research experience in molecular biology, transcriptomics, and bioinformatics. My current research investigates transcriptional regulation in spermatogenesis, where I uncovered critical roles of NELF-B and TDP-43 in germ cell maturation using single-cell RNA-seq and conditional knockouts (Nat. Commun., 2024). Previously, I identified the potential diagnostic biomarkers for Non-Obstructive Azoospermia (Indian Patent 490112), co-developed bioinformatics tools, and optimized pipelines for genetic variant analysis. With multiple peer-reviewed publications and a passion for decoding gene regulation, I aim to drive transformative discoveries in male infertility and reproductive health.
