I am a Ph.D. student in Animal Science at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, specializing in reproductive physiology. My research, under the mentorship of Dr. Daniel Mathew, focuses on understanding the role of galectin-3 in early embryonic development. I previously earned a Master’s degree in Agriculture and Food Science from University College Dublin, where I worked with Dr. Patrick Lonergan to investigate factors affecting in vitro bovine embryo production. I also hold a B.Sc. in Genetics from University College Dublin.
I am also passionate about teaching and mentoring. I currently serve as a Teaching Assistant for animal anatomy and physiology
