Barbora Klusackova is a PhD candidate at the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague. Her research focuses on reproductive biology, with a particular interest in sperm molecular markers of capacitation. She has participated in international research internships, including at the Slovak Academy of Sciences, where she gained experience in capacitation detection techniques, and at the University of Missouri, where she has been part of the mitophagy project and gained more experience in advanced imaging techniques and gamete phisiology. Her work has contributed to understanding how capacitation media and fixation protocols influence capacitation marker detection in boar spermatozoa.
