Graduate Student (PhD Candidate)
University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign
My name is Irene Inancy Joseph, and I am a Ph.D. candidate in Comparative Biosciences at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, mentored by Dr. Prabhakara Reddi. My research focuses on the role of TDP-43 in epididymal sperm maturation using a conditional knockout mouse model, integrating molecular biology, reproductive physiology, and RNA-based analyses. I hold a Master’s in Biotechnology from the Rajiv Gandhi Center for Biotechnology. In addition to my academic research, I am passionate about translational and clinical research and committed to mentoring the next generation of scientists. I’m excited to explore postdoctoral and industry opportunities in reproductive health.
