My passion for ovarian biology was ignited during my postdoctoral training in the laboratory of Dr. So-Youn Kim at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. My research has focused on physiology, endocrinology, and developmental biology within ovarian biology, particularly on regulating TAp63α and elucidating the signaling pathways involved in oocyte death using knockout mouse models. This research has not only deepened my understanding of ovarian biology but also provided valuable insights into oncofertility, an emerging field aimed at preserving fertility in patients undergoing cancer treatment. My contributions to the field have been recognized through publications in high-impact journals such as Science Advances (2022), Cell Death & Disease (2024), Biology of Reproduction (2024), and EBioMedicine (2024). These accomplishments, along with oral presentations at the Midlands Society of Physiological Sciences (MSPS) meeting and the Greenwald Symposium in 2023, and a poster presentation at ENDO 2024, have solidified my dedication to advancing ovarian biology and oncofertility research field.
