I grew up in northwest Tennessee before attending the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, for my bachelor's in Animal Science. I completed my master's in Animal Science with an emphasis in Reproductive Physiology at UT Knoxville. I am currently a PhD candidate in Dr. Ealy's laboratory at Virginia Tech. My research focuses on studying pregnancy loss and embryo development during the first month of gestation in cattle.
