Xiangning is a dedicated Ph.D. student specializing in molecular biology with a focus on cell-cell communication and placentation. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Shanxi University, China.
Xiangning conducts her research in Dr. Milan Bagchi's laboratory, which focuses on understanding the molecular mechanisms of placentation. Her current research specifically investigates the bidirectional cell-cell communication between endometrial stromal cells and trophoblast cells at the maternal-fetal interface during early pregnancy. She has a third-authored peer-reviewed article in the journal ENDOCRINOLOGY. She has also presented her work at many conferences, including the Upper Midwest Summit for Reproductive Science in 2023 and 2024.
