Dr. Brunette is an IRTA Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Institutes of Health, NICHD. She holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Biomedical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University, a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Northwestern University, and a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Michigan. Dr. Brunette's doctoral research centered on engineering immuno-isolating hydrogel capsules for human ovarian tissue transplantation. She continued to work in the reproductive biology space and her postdoctoral work in the Gomez-Lobo lab focuses on Turner Syndrome patients and understanding what is happening in ovarian tissue from these patients.
