Graduate Research Assistant
University of Missouri
My name is Jada Nix and I am a PhD student at the University of Missouri. My overarching research interests revolve around preimplantation embryo development and female fertility. I am interested in understanding the biological mechanisms that contribute to oocyte and embryo quality. I also hope to improve oocyte and embryo cryopreservation for propagating important model animal lines or overcoming clinical disease and treatment that may impact long-term gamete health. I am advancing in my graduate studies with the long-term goal of directing a clinical embryology lab while actively contributing to ongoing research and innovation in the field of reproduction.
