As a PhD student in the department of Animal Sciences at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, I am currently a graduate research assistant in the "Dean Repro Lab" where we are interested in all aspects of female reproduction and utilize mice models to study early pregnancy. My research is focused on developing a knock-out mouse model to investigate whether glycogen is required for preimplantation embryo development.
