Alejandra Garcia is a fourth-year Ph.D. student at the University of California, Irvine. She earned her bachelor's degree in Cell and Developmental Biology from California State University, Fullerton. Under the mentorship of Dr. Dongbao Chen, her research focuses on the potential of placental exosomes as biomarkers for placenta accreta and preeclampsia.
