I majored in veterinary medicine at The University of Tokyo, receiving my Ph.D. in 2006. From 2011 to 2016, I was an assistant professor, and then an associate professor, at the Graduate School of Bioagricultural Sciences at Nagoya University. Since 2016, I have been an associate professor, and then a professor, at The University of Tokyo. My research focuses on the regulatory mechanisms of the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis and follicular development control in mammals.
