Ms. Elizabeth Lawrence graduated from Arkansas Tech University with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. During her undergrad, Elizabeth was a member of Tri Beta, a biological honors society. Her undergraduate research includes projects focused on Drosophila gene expression in addition to research involving the conservation of the endangered Ozark Big Eared Bat. She is now a master’s student at the University of Southern Mississippi studying protein phosphatase 1 (PP1) and its role in oocyte meiosis and cell cycle progression. After obtaining her master’s degree, Elizabeth’s goal is to work in the biotech industry.
