Varun Giritharan is an undergraduate student in the UBC-BCIT Biotechnology program located in Canada. The joint program provides students with extensive laboratory skills by having students attend two institutions over the course of the Degree with an added Diploma in Biotechnology.
Varun's current and prior research endeavors are currently at the University of California, San Francisco at Dr. Paolo Rinaudo's Lab. Here Varun had focused on the epigenetic and metabolic effects of IVF embryos due to culture condition stress. Varun will continue working at UCSF to further his understanding of what occurs as a result of ART.
