Postdoc
University of Missouri
I earned my Ph.D. from the Universidade Estadual do Norte Fluminense (UENF), Brazil, studying epigenetic changes in imprinted genes of cloned cattle affected by Large Offspring Syndrome. From 2021 to 2024, I completed a postdoc at UENF, using CRISPR-based editing to produce biopharmaceuticals in cattle. Since August 2024, I’ve been a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Missouri, working with gene editing in pigs and developing strategies to enhance bovine in vitro embryo production. I have strong experience in molecular biology, cell culture, and genome editing, and I’m passionate about using these tools to advance research in animal biotechnology.
