Helia is from London, UK and is a Masters student in the Greg FitzHarris lab at the CRCHUM, Canada. She completed her BSc in Biological Sciences at Cardiff University, UK, where her dissertation explored HDAC4 function in Drosophila muscle development. Currently, she is pursuing her MSc in Molecular Biology at Université de Montréal, where her research investigates a potential route to aneuploidy in mammalian embryos, known as mitotic slippage.
