PhD Candidate
University of Rochester
Rising fourth year Toxicology PhD Candidate at the University of Rochester Medical Center working in the laboratory of Dr. Martha Susiarjo studying how endocrine-disrupting chemicals affect pancreatic islet function and contribute to the development of gestational diabetes.
My passion for toxicology and biomedical research is vested in my interests in environmental health and physiology and my desire to improve the health of communities and reduce health disparities through the lens of scientific research. I am particularly interested in maternal health, spanning from preconception, pregnancy, and to the postpartum period.
