Graduate student
UNIVERSITY OF FLORIDA
I am a first-year master's student in Animal Sciences at the University of Florida, focusing on fetal programming through rumen-protected methionine supplementation during early pregnancy. My background is in cattle reproduction as a veterinarian, primarily working with dairy cattle. Since 2023, I have been an intern at the North Florida Research and Education Center in Marianna, FL where I develop my research experiments and collaborate on projects related to fetal programming, cell-free DNA, feed efficiency, and metabolomics.
Participating in academic meetings such as this provides invaluable experience, enhancing my presentation skills and expanding my professional network.
