Kyle Hickman is a third-year doctoral student in the Department of Animal Science at Texas A&M University. Kyle earned a B.S degree in Animal Science from Illinois State University in 2021. Kyle is a research assistant in Dr. Rebecca Poole’s lab, with his dissertation research focusing on the reproductive microbiome and its involvement with the immune system in swine. Kyle has worked with beef and dairy cattle, as well as swine, providing further research on multiple livestock species. Kyle has one first- author publication currently under review and co-authored five peer-reviewed papers.
